Yesterday, I had an early dinner with one of my closest grade school friends, Carla! We decided to try out Nolita, this new Italian restaurant in the Fort. THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOOOD. I can’t wait to go back again! Haha!
I ordered the wild mushroom pizza, which I lovedddd. I was supposed to get the watermelon mojito, but since they didn’t have it, I tried the spiked waterlemonade instead, which was pretty good too!

Hiii. Ever since last week, I started to carry my trusty g12 everywhere! Here’s what I’ve been up to:
A few days ago, I learned how to do the smokey eye. Or at least I tried to learn… I SUCK. I’m really not the heavy makeup type!

With Sam and Cics! It had only been days and I missed these two crazy people already!! Kwentuhan to the max! Hahaha
One of their recommended dishes which I do not recommend. The chicken + sauce was good, but the pesto was too strong. I think it had too much garlic.
After dinner, we headed to Strumms for Renzo’s fundraising concert, which definitely turned out to be a success!

The next day, we visited Peps Salon in QC. It was the first time I had my hair fully colored (no ombre/dip dye for me anymore), and since I was kind of nervous about it not looking natural, I opted for a slightly lighter shade closer to my natural hair color.
In some lights, it looks like nothing changed. HAHAHA.

Just a while ago, my mom, my sister, and I had our first fitting for the wedding of my tito & tita. When two ladies came inside, they thought I was the one getting married! LOL. I’m only the bridesmaid!!

Nostalgic… NOT
I don’t exactly know the reason why I started blogging. Well, as far as I can remember, I’ve always liked to write. I don’t consider myself exceptionally good at it, but I do enjoy it. I went through Xanga and Multiply phases (both short-lived), and eventually turned to the very trusty Blogspot. The theme of my first Blogspot was slightly embarrassing though… aside from blogging about my day, I’d blog about my outfits, which were kind of hideous and experimental during my early years of high school. And when I say experimental, I mean it in a bad way. I had really short hair at one point too, which made things even worse! But even if some photos still make me cringe, I didn’t put that blog down because I actually like looking back at it and having something to laugh at.

day 3 of makeup class + thoughts
Sorry for the lack of updates! I’ve been pretty busy! But anyway, here’s what happened the other day:
Day 3: Maquillage du Soir (evening makeup). I’m not a fan of heavy makeup (I prefer the no makeup makeup look), but it was definitely interesting to learn all about evening makeup. More drama/intensity/impact!
Don’t mind the shiny face, it’s the primer! Hahaha!

The same time we were having makeup class, there were a flood of texts and tweets that informed us about this car crash that happened inside Ayala Alabang early that morning, unfortunately killing the 4 teenagers that were inside. What shocked me even more is that I knew one of them, since he used to study in my school and that I would also occasionally see the boys skate in Cuenca. It’s so sad to think that they could’ve prevented what happened.. drinking + driving = definitely not a good idea. Stay safe, guys. xx
